Considering a relaunch

From the ground up, of course the story is the same, but some changes would be made to the style and delivery. It would take about a year to rebuild the buffer, but my art has come a long way during the hiatus. I’ll update on the decision periodically. Thanks for sticking with me all this time.

NaNoWriMo and Aero No.1 (a brief history)

If you follow my main blog, you know (now) that I will be participating in NaNoWriMo this year. The original plan was to write out a murder mystery, but that fell through. Instead I decided to do a little preparation. I’m going to write out the detailed outline of Aero No.1, and to an extent the prequel Sins of Our Fathers (ohh betcha didn’t know that existed whaaat)

Cleaning up and finalizing all the concept sheets for mechs. Hard but enjoyable work. Here’s a preview of what I’m up to. This is the ship Ace pilots.
Note to Self and Others:
Every ship has a classification based on an abbreviation system. Non-flight vehicles just get those same commercial names you see on a Ford. Why? It’s really important to know what the ship is.  The abbreviations let the pilot immediately know if it’s ok to shoot or not. (Each class of ship has a different signal that matches the classification and shows up on other ship’s interface. Problems happen when this signal is jammed.) You can tell what type of ship it is from the title, not the nickname. Some of these get REALLY long.
For this image I used the common name(and I’m toooooooo lazy to go and change it), but in the future this model will be referred to as the SFM4-B. There are several ships within one coding group, so it gets confusing. (SFM4-B “Destroyer”, SFM2-SAR “Firefly”, SFM16-D “Blockade”)
The full title of this ship is SFM4-B { Space Force Military-grade 4-seat Bomber type}
Other classes include:
TFC- Terra Firma CivilianSFNC- Space Force Non-Combatant (You’ve seen one of these in the comic already)AOMV- Any Orbit Military Vehicle HMR- Humanoid Military Robot
For instance: The Aero No1 is classified as SFM1-SS, the only one of its kind. The Black Phoenix is an AOCV. The Station itself has a classification of its own, which I rarely spell out. However, it’s referred to as the “Sem-Quad-Fai” SFMQ4D-FAI {Space Force Military Quadrant 4 Defense- Full Assault Island} as a shorthand.

Working on some concepts for the prequel to Ano1. The working title is “Sins of Our Fathers”.
Using editorial images of war for the color palette and buildings/destruction.  It’ll be more apparent when i get farther along. If you can’t tell, these kids are running ammo.

Haven’t worked on this in so long I have to re-do my character refs because my style has changed so much. The chapter layout has changed a bit as well, I’m a busy girl.
He looks like an actual dude now ;;

New Years Resolution: Actually update and get this story back on track.

I am such a useless person, I miss working on this terribly, but never get around to actually working! This year, expect updates. They will still be rare and erratic, but they will exist.
